Only Three More Sleeps!!

Three more sleeps until I get my wish... which is to see Jason.

That's really only: 4 days, 3 nights, about 84 hours, 5040 minutes and 302400 seconds.

But I'm not that excited... honestly. I have to finish a paper first before I get to go home...
But its about Witchcraft in the Reformation, which is a very interesting subject.
And I should really be working on it now instead of updating, but I had to share my good news or chocolate milk induced sugar rush with all of you.

So my morning started off rather slow.
Two calls from the boyfriend.
A late lunch.
Debating about wanting to drive in the snow.
An even later decision to finally hop in the shower before having to go to my night class.

I finally drag myself away from the laptop, discovery channel and living room couch, and head to the bathroom with a towel in tow.

I get out of the shower.
I pick out my clothes, get dressed and dry my hair.
I just sit down on the couch, open up my laptop and the fire alarm goes off for the entire apartment building.
So there I am, on the couch, now with a slight headache, bare footed, and an eager boyfriend IMing me wanting to talk.

I quickly inform him that now is not a good time, the fire alarm just went off.
I close my laptop, and slowly walk to my room while massaging my now pounding left temple.
I have to find socks first. I put them on.
I gather my cell phone, my keys and my laptop and put them all in my backpack, which my wallet was thankfully housed in.

I gather my jacket and mittens because I know it's freezing outside.
I put on my boots, and slowly walk out the kitchen door.

As I head outside, I don't see anyone.
I couldn't be the only one home.
I realise that it's only a Tuesday afternoon, but there has to be a few University students in my building.
Plus I had heard the noisy upstairs people earlier.
I turn the corner, and there the (suspected) noisy upstairs neighbour stands alone in the cold.

As I walk over, we begin to talk.
Mainly about what we were doing when it happened.
I just got out of the shower.
She was sleeping.
Small talk.
Then we turn, another neighbour from the other end of the building comes out carrying her cat.
We talk for a little bit.
Wondering what was happening.

Another neighbour appears.
He's lurking by a car.
If he's been in the building all this time, he'd be crispy if the building was really on fire, instead of just smelling like burning/burnt food.

We get the okay to go back inside.
Me and the (suspected noisy) upstairs neighbour go in.
Cat-girl is allowing the animal to frolic in the never seen before snow.
And Lurky-boy has disappeared, I think that he lives downstairs. But I've never seen him before.

So I take off my boots, jacket and mittens, and once again go back to the laptop.

The first message I receive after signing back in, is of course from Jason.
He's probably been worried for the entire 10-15 minutes I was gone. Wondering if my apartment building is actually on fire.

-------------------------------------------
You know me! Hope everything is o.k says:
is everything o.k?
°o.O·TEE·O.o° says:
Yes. It was a false alarm. Someones mother-in-law just burnt food.
You know me! Hope everything is o.k says:
oh thank god
-------------------------------------------

Doesn't he sound so relieved?

We chat for a little bit more before he has stuff to do, and I decide to finally go to my night class.

But he did leave me with this:

-------------------------------------------
You know me! says:
but ttyl love ya tons
°o.O·TEE·O.o° says:
Love you too.
°o.O·TEE·O.o° says:
Have fun.
You know me! says:
I thank you for this
°o.O·TEE·O.o° says:
For what?
You know me! says:
for loving me 2 hun.
-------------------------------------------

I'd traditionally think that my "near death experience" brought this on, but he's normally this freaking sweet.

Fuck. I'd rather deal with Shauna.

So last night when my mom called, she informed me that my ex-boyfriend of over a year called the house looking for me.

Basically this is the ex-boyfriend who's been stalking me.
Wouldn't leave me alone at work.
Left creepy notes on my car.
Called continually for the first month I was home during the summer.

Apparently the conversation went something like this:

Ex: Can I please speak to Terri?
Mom: I'm sorry she's not home. Can I please take a message?
Ex: Do you know when she's going to be home? I really need to talk to her.
Mom: Sorry, but she's not going to be home until mid-December.
Ex: Uhhhh...?
Mom: She's still in New Brunswick. She's still at school.
Ex: Uhhh...?
Mom: Can I ask who's calling?
Ex: It's Wayne.
Mom: Uhhhh... Okay then. Ummmm, goodbye.

Mom thinking's: WTF is he calling for?

So I told her that the next time he calls just to tell him that I'm out with my boyfriend. And to stress the word boyfriend.
And when he asks when I'm going to be home, just to answer with "I don't know. Sometime tomorrow."

Seriously, it's been a year already. Get over it.
I've moved on.
I'm happy.
Don't make me change the phone number my parents have had for 20 years.
I'll be very pissed then.

But on the plus side.
10 days until I see Jason.
I miss him so much.

Went shopping with Shauna tonight.
Spent over 4 hours at the mall.
It surprisingly wasn't a disaster.
Talked about Adam a little too much for my liking.

Took the bus for the first time in forever.
I still hate it.
Totally won't be doing that again if I can help it.

Scored jeans for only $10.
Gotta love Wal-Mart.
Bought part of the boy's present.
I need to plot out the rest/ask what the hell he wants.

Got my eyebrows waxed for the first time in forever.
Ate way too much chocolate.
Currently experiencing a sugar high, and yet exhaustion at the same time.

Do you remember that tender age, a long time ago when boys thought making babies was extremely icky?
Oh boy, how the times do change.
ASK any adult male about the actions of making babies, then sit back and watch them grin... or try to get you to participate in said baby making actions.

After a very enlightening conversation with my 10 year old male cousin, all I can do is chuckle.
Although he recently acquired a girlfriend, named Kristin. He's still in that stage where girls are icky.
And he doesn't want to know where babies come from.

Embarrassed by his upcoming Sex Ed class, which he referred to as "puberty and other stuff" and talking to his older female cousin probably wasn't the best for his tender little ego.
Although I did hold back on my judgement, only telling him that he'd be fine, life would go on and that Sex Ed wasn't going to be the end of the world.
I didn't even mention Health or PDR (Personal Development Research) Class in which he would be forced to take until at least grade 10.
I thought I should giggle over that in person.

He understood that, and he acknowledged that I was right, but god was he ever embarrassed. At least it wasn't an in person conversation. I don't think that I could have held back my laughter or sarcastic comments if it were.

At least I didn't say that in a few years he would change his tune and would then proceed to get into the pants of many females before his teen years were over. First year of university being the highlight or strongest period of inclination.
I'll leave that conversation for another time.
Perhaps when he's of drinking age.

Well... I'm glad to finally have feeling back in my toes.

Tonight has been exciting to say the least.

I talked to the boy tonight. Very briefly.
He told me that he wanted to hear my "beautiful voice" before having a nap.
He also said that he'd call, but I expect him just to crash.
After all, he's been up around 7 AM every morning. Just to get to work on time.

AND HERE COMES THE EXCITING BIT!

Around 9:30-9:45 pm the fire alarm for the entire building went off.
So I had to grab the most important things.
Cell phone.
Laptop.
Wallet.
Jacket.
Slippers. (What? I didn't want to take time to put both socks and sneakers on, and flip flops are not good in -5°C weather.)

Today is...

turning out to be a really good day.

FIRST: My second assignment for my classics course on Archaeology is cancelled.
She said because the Final Assignment and the Exam are so close together that she doesn't feel as if we need the second short assignment.
SECOND: I have a paper due this Friday, and suddenly in the middle of class the Prof declares that she's giving an extension to Monday Nov. 19th.
THIRD: I just got a midterm back that I wrote on the 26th of October.
I thought that I failed it.
I somehow managed to pull off an A.

And the boy is suppose to call me tonight.
So yeah. Today hasn't been that bad.

I drive home today.
Yay! Go HFX!
I can't wait to see the boy.

It's literally taking all of my will power not to leave right now.
I have to go to a manditory History class.
TOTALLY not fun.
I don't want to go, but I can't (or at least I shouldn't) miss anymore classes.

But I should be getting my first essay back.
So hopefully I did well.
Why could my class be at 10:30 instead of 11:30?

O.O

As sad as this is to admit,
I've just noticed that the last 16/20 entries, both public and private are about my boy.

GOD, my f-list must think that I have nothing else to talk about.
Which is kinda sad, and just a little bit true.
I mean after all there's only so much bitching a person can handle.
And my life is going pretty good at the moment.

Urrggg.

I woke up this morning thinking that I slept in.
Then I remember time changed today.
An extra hour of sunlight, and disappointment that I really didn't sleep in.
Taking into account the fact that I went to bed at one, and woke up around 9.
8 hours once again.

I really have to start writing my CLAS2303 paper on Greek Coins.
I did most of the research this past week.
Now I have to start the actual writing process.
Especially since I want to be finished by Friday.

And speaking of Friday.
I go home to visit my boy this weekend.
I really can't believe that a month has passed already.
Next thing you know, exams will be here, and then it'll be winter vacation.
And then I'll be home for THREE weeks.
The only sad thing about it is that I'm going to miss the boys birthday cause I'll be studying for exams.
I guess that I'll just have to make it up to him.
